The design of the Inferno is strikingly elegant and dynamic. A design which highlights the technical aspect of the helmet, another of the Inferno's strengths.

The MET Research and Development team has designed its own IT software called Nova 3 that enables them to test their helmets virtually even before building a 3D model. When ready to launch production of the first prototype, MET have already been able to fine tune the design and offer the best volume, weight, shock absorption capacity, rigidity and ventilation ratio possible.

The competitive edge is visible and even measurable. MET helmets are among the most resistant and lightweight - and they don't even need to use carbon. The Nova software also saves a considerable amount of time and money which is why MET helmets offer the best performance for the price on the market.

Ultimalite fibre strengthens the structure to which it is applied to such an extent that it is possible to lower the density of the materials used and thus lower the helmet weight without altering the shock absorption capacity.

Kevlar straps offer optimised performance and comfort. Although improving performance is often at a cost to comfort and vice-versa, this is not the case with our exclusive Kevlar straps. Ventilated, breathable, lighter and ultra-resistant, they have numerous advantages over traditional straps. Coolmax anti-allergenic interior pads are made of a high-tech material assures rapid evaporation of absorbed perspiration for greater comfort. - A.D.
