Silca Pista Plus Floor Pump

The Silca Pista Plus is an ultra stable and robust track pump that is most at home in the workshop. Capable of pumping to a pressure of 220 psi, this high-quality, durable and beautiful pump will outlive your bikes.

This new generation Pista comes with all of the performance components that have made it our top-selling floor pump since it was launched in 1962 and adds to it, a few design features borrowed directly from the SuperPista Ultimate for increased stability and versatility.

Pista Plus, as with its predecessors, is a pump that’s built to outlast the rest of your cycling equipment. The durable steel barrel, 3mm-thick leather plunger piston design, and our proprietary brass air bridge and check-valve assembly ensure unrivalled longevity, not just in material strength but rebuild-ability as well. The smaller-diameter barrel combined with the superior pumping efficiency of our classic 731 model Italian leather plunger washer and German Igus linear bearings also mean that Pista Plus is capable of reaching pressures of up to 220 PSI, another nod to the Pista lineage.

The ‘Plus’ in Pista Plus stands for ‘Plus stability.’ Whereas previous generations of Pista pumps had design features that made them ideal for taking with you, we designed Pista Plus for those who prefer to leave the pump at home, in the shop, at the velodrome, etc. A first for the Pista product line, Pista Plus features a three-footed aluminium base and an enlarged lathe-turned Ash handle, which both draw inspiration from the ergonomics and superior stability of the SuperPista Ultimate platform.

Pista Plus has a long filler hose with an integrated Schrader chuck and comes standard with our push-on alloy Presta chuck with a bleeder valve. The chuck dock on Pista Plus is an intelligent design enhancement over the previous chuck dock design in that it now secures the chuck at the Schrader chuck instead of at the end of the Presta chuck. This design enhancement means that the rider can choose to swap the standard chuck out for our HIRO chuck, Disc Wheel Adapter, or any other thread on-chuck for that matter and still have the ability to secure it properly. We’ve also upgraded the gauge over the previous design to a slightly larger 64mm gauge for improved readability and accuracy.
